Job_End
Description
Section titled “Description”Ends a CapaInstaller script. Call it as the last line of the script, with the final value of bStatus.
Job_End does the following:
- Reports the job status to CapaInstaller: Succeeded if bJobStatus is TRUE, Failed if it’s FALSE, or Not Compliant if the script called CMS_SetPackageStatusToNotCompliant and bJobStatus is FALSE. If the job was canceled, for example with CMS_JobRetryLater, the status isn’t changed.
- Updates the job statistics, including the installation time. See Job_GetProductStatus.
- Calls Job_WebReport if web reporting is set up on the computer.
- Closes the log and copies it to the
History\<job name>subfolder of the log folder. History logs older than 7 days are deleted, but the 10 newest logs are always kept.
Job_End doesn’t stop the script. Code after Job_End still runs, but it can’t write to the log.
