Schedule Wake on LAN for a computer group

A Wake on LAN schedule sends a Wake on LAN request to the computers in the group at the scheduled time. You can set it on static, department, AD and dynamic groups that contain computers.

1. Right-click the group and select Schedule WOL….
2. Fill out the tabs for the schedule you want. For a description of the tabs, see Scheduling.
3. Select or clear Enabled to turn the schedule on or off.
4. Click OK.

Schedule a calendar or reinstallation group

For a calendar group, the schedule sets the time window in which the agent may run on the computers in the group. Outside this window, the agent doesn’t run. For a reinstallation group, the schedule sets when the computers in the group are reinstalled.

1. Right-click the calendar group or reinstallation group and select Schedule….
2. Fill out the tabs for the schedule you want. For a description of the tabs, see Scheduling. On the Advanced tab, you can choose to add a Wake on LAN request.
3. Select or clear Enabled to turn the schedule on or off.
4. Click OK.

Note

If you select several groups in the content view, Schedule opens a submenu:

• Modify schedule opens the schedule form. The schedule you set applies to all the selected groups.
• Disable schedule disables the schedule on the selected groups that already have one.
• Enable schedule enables the schedule on the selected groups that already have one.

Reset the last run of a schedule

To reset the last run date of a group’s schedule, right-click the group, select Reset Schedule’s last run, and confirm.
