Patch Management options
The following is a detailed description of the options for Patch Management and how to use them. To open them, select Tools → Options…, and then select Patch Management.
Automatic computer assignment
Section titled “Automatic computer assignment”You can specify how to assign computers when they arrive in Patch Management.

| Computers | Select one of the Patch Management groups to add new computers to. Computers are defined from hardware inventory as computers installed with an operating system other than Windows Server. |
| Servers | Select one of the Patch Management groups to add new servers to. Servers are defined from hardware inventory as computers installed with the Windows Server operating system. |
