User configuration

The user configuration can be used to specify that user settings (profile updates etc.) should be applied as part of the package installation. The technique used makes it possible to target both logged on users and users that log on in the future.

User configuration section Description

Enable Enable this option causes an extra script (<Name>_us.cis) to be created. The user configuration script will automatically be applied as part of the installation if a user is logged on. When new users logs on the script will be executed as part of an active setup, once for each user.
A typically user configuration script contains a repair of the user profile (msiexec /fup <msi file>).
The default is No. The user configuration script is only used with computer jobs. This item is only shown in the advanced view.
