Delete Data Connection Service

This page describes how to delete a Data Connection Service.

Before you start

You can’t delete the Data Connection Service while Distribution Servers are deployed.

1. In System Administration, expand Services, right-click the Data Connection Service, and select Remove.

2. Select one of the options:

   • Full deletion uninstalls the Data Connection Service, deletes its files on the server, and removes it from the database.
   • Partial deletion removes the Data Connection Service from the database. Files and folders on the server are left unchanged.

   

   The Data Connection Service is removed.

   

3. When the deletion is completed, close the wizard.
