Introduction

The Back-end Server is an Http service offering a REST http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Representational\_state\_transfer interface and is designed to be the point of connection for other CapaInstaller services that require access to the CapaInstaller Database or an Active Directory.
The Data Connection Service is used to provide Http communication to services placed outside the primary firewall, instead of having to allow SMB and SQL server traffic to travel through the firewall.
