CapaInstaller Agent Not Installing Packages

Problem

The agent is running, and the Front-end service, the Back-end service, and the Base Agent all communicate on the network. The agent still doesn’t install any packages.

The agent runs its own logic and VBScript packages with Windows Script Host (wscript.exe and cscript.exe). If Windows Script Host is damaged, no packages install.

Solution 1 - Re-register the Windows Script Host files

Open an elevated command prompt on the affected computer.

Run these commands:

regsvr32 scrrun.dll
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
regsvr32 jscript.dll

Restart the CapaInstaller Agent Service and check whether packages install.
