The following is a description of how to create a reinstall group for Configuration Management

| Step | Action |
| 1 | Open Configuration Management /Groups /System Groups / Right-click on Reinstall groups and click create a group. |
| 2 | Type Name, Description and select a model. Choose whether or not all installed advertised packages should be unlinked from the computers. Choose whether or not the computer should be unlinked from all groups and packages. Checking this will disable the option regarding advertised packages. Optionally enter a comment and click Next.  |
| 3 | Select the OS settings for the group. The installation type is optional.  |
