The computers that aren’t linked to a Patch Management group are shown in the Other computers folder in the Patch Management tree. The folder has two subfolders: Unassigned computers and Excluded computers.

Element	Description
Unassigned computers	Computers that aren’t linked to a Patch Management group. They don’t receive any updates. The Patch Management Service can add them to a group automatically through query based membership or the automatic computer assignment in Patch Management options.
Excluded computers	Computers that you have excluded from Patch Management. They don’t receive any updates, and they’re never added to a group automatically.
