Power scheme groups

A power scheme group is the object that links power schemes and computers and determines when to apply which power scheme to its members.

Two default power scheme groups will be created on each Configuration Management Point, named ‘Computers’ and ‘Servers’. All servers that do not get a power scheme group assigned, will be added to the ‘Servers’ group, while other PCs will be added to the ‘Computers’ group. These two groups cannot be deleted or renamed.

Right-clicking on a power scheme group gives you the following options:

Element Description
Paste computers Only shown when the unit buffer contains computers. Adds the computers to the group.
Delete Deletes the power scheme group. Not available for the Computers and Servers groups.
Properties Provide you with the properties for the power scheme group in the power scheme group properties window.
