Virtualization

The Virtualization section is used to identify the virtual application layer that has to be deployed. The section is only visible when the SWV template is selected. Installation Mode, which controls how the script/program will run in terms of user interaction, is in the General section.

Virtualization section	Description
Path to Virtualized Package	Specify the path to the layer file to import and distribute. The file is copied into the package when you generate it. This value is required
Virtualized package	Enter the name of the layer to import and distribute. This value is required
Virtualized package(s) to deactivate	Enter the names of the layers to remove from the client when this layer is distributed. If the Virtualized package is deployed with success the selected layer(s) are deactivated
Process name(s)	Before layers are removed the process list is scanned to verify that the applications are not loaded. If they are loaded the end user is asked to terminate them. Enter the process names as they appear in Task Manager, separated with |. This value is required
