In CapaInstaller macOS is managed just like iOS and other devices through Getting started with Device Management.

About macOS management...

• Management is relying on the built-in macOS device management features and requires no native agent install to install.
• Resetting a macOS computer is handled by triggering the built-in macOS Recovery disk feature and requires no OS images or deployment.

Caution

Sending a wipe command completely turns over control of the recovery to macOS so be sure you have fully functional recovery tools and partitions on the macOS device you wish to reset

About macOS Recovery

A macOS computer can be manually enrolled by opening up a browser and following the below steps

• Click on, paste in, or type the supplied enrollment URL in a web browser on the device targeted for enrollment.
• Authenticate
• Accept terms and enroll
• When prompted Install the Device Enrollment profile and follow the profile installation on-screen
• Click Done and the device is enrolled

Automatic Device enrollment is supported via the Apple DEP program

To apply Apps, restrictions or Active Directory profiles use the Profile Editor and the Application Editor
