OpenSSL
The CapaInstaller Console includes OpenSSL. It’s installed with the console, in the OpenSSL-Win64 folder in the console’s installation folder. With CapaInstaller 6.6, OpenSSL has been upgraded to version 3.2.1.
The console uses OpenSSL when it creates Apple certificates, for example in the Apple Push Certificate request wizard and when you add an Apple DEP server. OpenSSL version 3.2.1 is supported on Windows Server 2016 and newer.
If the Verify OpenSSL check in a wizard fails, the console found neither the included OpenSSL nor a separately installed OpenSSL. Check that the OpenSSL-Win64 folder exists in the console’s installation folder, and that the console runs on 64-bit Windows. You can also click Install in the wizard to open the download page for OpenSSL for Windows.
