Install PerformanceGuard License

When you purchase PerformanceGuard, you receive a license file that you must install together with PerformanceGuard in order to use the solution.

You may receive the license file via e-mail or directly from your PerformanceGuard consultant.

The license file is an XML file. It contains information about the number of PerformanceGuard agents and AutoSteps agents that you are allowed to run, the expiry date of your license agreement, and more.

Install the license

  1. Log in to the PerformanceGuard web interface.

  2. If PerformanceGuard has no license, the License file missing dialog opens. Select Upload new license, and then select your license file (.xml).

  3. To verify the license, open the main menu The main menu icon and select About PerformanceGuard. Check that the license data matches your expectations: Licensed to, Licensed version, Expiration date, Maintenance date, and how many agent and AutoSteps agent licenses are used out of the licenses you have.

Replace or add a license

To upload a new license later, for example when your license expires, open the main menu, select About PerformanceGuard, and then select Upload new license.
