View Events that Relate to an Alert

When you view triggered alerts in the Alert List, you can click the magnifying glass icon in the first column of a particular alert to View Details About Alerts, including affected locations, networks, and computers.

If you then click the Related Events tab, you can view a list of events that have contributed to the triggering of the alert. For each event, the list shows the event and received timestamps, location, network, computer, event description, event rule, event type and event severity. The list shows 50 events per page.

Tip

If you have the Detail or Admin role, you can click computer names in the Computer column to view details about the computer on which an event has occurred. If you have the Admin role, you can also click the name in the Event Rule column to open the event rule that triggered an event.
