Computer Overview

The computer overview (ANALYZE > Computers > Computer Overview) is a bar chart that shows information about computers that have the PerformanceGuard agent installed: CPU type, operating system version, disk space, average startup and login times, and more. You can filter the information if you only need to view data from specific groups of computers.

1. Select required type of chart, for example CPU type, Operating system or System Disk Free Space.
2. Select which group of computers you want to view information about.
3. If relevant, use the Bottom X menu to limit your results. This isn’t available for all chart types, but can be very useful for some chart types.

Important

Example: You have selected the Total free disk space chart type. In the Bottom X menu you select Bottom 10 to only view a list of the ten computers that have the least free disk space. In other words, Bottom X lets you create a negative top 10 list.

4. Click the Update button.

Tip

The graph tells you how many computers have a given CPU type, agent version, a given amount of total free disk space, etc. Do you also want to know which computers? Click the Export button below the graph to view exactly which computers (including computer name, IP address and agent ID) have a particular attribute.
