Custom Time Periods on Graphs

When you view graphs, you may occasionally find that the Manage Time Periods are too limited. If so, you can manually adjust the interval:

  1. Select the Custom check box below the Interval list. A start field and an end field appear.
  2. Enter the required start and end times directly in the fields. Alternatively, click the calendar icon next to each field, select the required date in the Select Date dialog, and then click Done. The blue dot Blue dot that marks the current date in the calendar indicates the current date. The green dot Green dot that marks the selected date indicates the date that you have selected. To specify a time in the calendar, click the calendar’s clock icon Clock icon (Select Time).
  3. Click Update (or Search on hotspot pages) to show the data for the period.

The fields show the time zone of the PerformanceGuard server next to each time.

The date and time format is set by the Calendar Parse parameter on the Common tab under ADMINISTRATION > Setup > Parameters (see Parameters and General Settings). By default, PerformanceGuard uses one of two formats:

  • American (MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm:ss tt), for example 01/23/2015 08:48:53 AM
  • European (DD-MM-YYYY hh:mm:ss), for example 23-01-2015 08:48:53. This is the default when the PerformanceGuard server runs with Danish regional settings.

Enter dates in the format that the fields already show. If you’re in doubt, ask your PerformanceGuard administrator.
