View Database and Agent Error Log

If you’re a PerformanceGuard administrator, you can view database and PerformanceGuard agent error logs in the PerformanceGuard web interface:

  1. Select ADMINISTRATION > Status > Errors.
  2. Select the required Interval (that is the period of time that you want to cover). If the predefined intervals don’t suit you, select Custom to Custom Time Periods on Graphs.
  3. Optionally, specify all or part of an error Name that you specifically want to search for.
  1. Optionally, specify all or part of a Component name that you specifically want to search for.
  1. Optionally, specify the Agent ID of an agent that you specifically want to search for.

  2. Select a minimum Severity.

    Note that the logs use numbers to indicate the severity of each message:

    • Informational: 0-10
    • Use-related: 11-127
    • Minor error: 128
    • Severe error: 129
    • Blocking error: 130
  3. Click the Search button.
