Agent Requirements
Supported Operating Systems
Section titled “Supported Operating Systems”The PerformanceGuard agent can be installed on physical or virtual computers running the following operating systems:
Desktop Operating Systems
Section titled “Desktop Operating Systems”- Windows XP (if using PerformanceGuard agent version 4.1.27 or newer)
- Windows Vista (if using PerformanceGuard agent version 5.2.38 or newer)
- Windows 7 (if using PerformanceGuard agent version 5.5.3 or newer)
- Windows 8 (if using PerformanceGuard agent version 6.1.16 or newer) Startup and Login Data Is Old or Missing
- Windows 10 (if using PerformanceGuard agent version 6.6.28301 or newer) Startup and Login Data Is Old or Missing
- Windows 11 (if using PerformanceGuard agent version 8.3 or newer)
Server Operating Systems
Section titled “Server Operating Systems”- Windows 2003 Server if using PerformanceGuard agent version 4.1.27 or newer)
- Windows 2008 Server (if using PerformanceGuard agent version 5.2.38 or newer)
- Windows 2008 Server R2
- Windows Server 2012 (if using PerformanceGuard agent version 6.1.16 or newer)
- Windows Server 2012 R2 (if using PerformanceGuard agent version 6.1.16 or newer)
- Windows Server 2016 (if using PerformanceGuard agent version 7.4)
- Windows Server 2019 (if using PerformanceGuard agent version 7.4)

Network Requirements
Section titled “Network Requirements”PerformanceGuard agents communicate with the PerformanceGuard frontend server through TCP. The PerformanceGuard agent will regularly establish a TCP connection with the PerformanceGuard frontend server on a port number specified during the installation of PerformanceGuard on the server. The default port is TCP port 4001.
