Severity Levels

Manage Thresholds and Events all have a severity level set by the PerformanceGuard administrator.
The severity levels in PerformanceGuard are predefined as follows:

In the web interface Severity Description
Normal severity label Normal Default severity level if no events have occurred.
Informational severity label Informational A situation that has informational value only.
Warning severity label Warning Some value or situation is out of the ordinary and should be looked at.
Error severity label Error Something is wrong and needs to be fixed.
Critical severity label Critical A critical error with a huge impact that requires immediate attention.

The severities are listed from lowest to highest. When a rule has a minimum severity, for example Minimum Event Severity in an alert rule, it includes that severity and all higher severities.
