Remove Firewall Rule

Removes one or more Windows Firewall rules by display name or internal rule name. Use DisplayName to target rules as shown in Windows Firewall with Advanced Security, or use Name to target a rule by its internal identifier. If the specified rule does not exist, the brick completes without error.

Parameters

Display Name

Optional

The display name of the firewall rule(s) to remove, as shown in Windows Firewall with Advanced Security. Supports wildcards, e.g. ‘My App *’. Either Display Name or Name must be provided.

Name

Optional

The internal name (rule ID) of the firewall rule to remove. Either Display Name or Name must be provided.
