Navigating CapaOne
CapaOne is organized around platforms — Windows, Android, and Apple — plus a Management section for cross-platform operations and an Account section for organization settings. Here is a quick orientation to help you find your way around.
Signing in
Section titled “Signing in”Go to dash.capaone.com and sign in with your CapaOne credentials. You can also click Sign in with Microsoft or Sign in with Google, as long as that account has the same email address as your CapaOne account. Your organization decides which sign-in methods are allowed. See Manage Sign-in Methods.
The home page
Section titled “The home page”After signing in you land on the home page. It shows quick-access tiles for the sections your organization has, grouped under Windows, Android, Apple, Management, and Enrollment. Click a tile to go to that section.

The first time you sign in to an organization without enrolled endpoints, the home page shows Let’s get started instead, with Start with Windows, Start with Android, and Start with Apple. Click Skip setup to go to the normal home page. You can complete the setup later from each platform’s Enrollment or setup page.
The right side of the home page has three panels:
- Account — your profile and Users & Organization
- Looking for On-Prem Solutions? — links to CapaOne for CapaInstaller and the PerformanceGuard documentation
- Quick Links — documentation, the Help Center, CapaForum, the technical blog, and booking an onboarding call
See On-prem solutions and Quick links.
The top bar
Section titled “The top bar”The top bar is visible throughout the platform and contains:

- CapaOne logo — click to return to the home page from anywhere
- Upload progress — appears while a Company App upload is running, and shows its progress
- Dark/Light mode toggle — switch the interface theme
- Notifications — opens What’s new in CapaOne: news, new features, improvements, and maintenance notices. A red dot means there are posts you haven’t seen. You can search the feed, filter it by category, and react to or comment on posts.
- System Information — platform status and release information. The icon’s color reflects the current platform status. The dialog also has links to support, documentation, the terms and conditions, the privacy policy, and your cookie settings.
- Organization selector — if you manage multiple organizations, switch between them here without logging out
- User menu — click your name to open your profile and account administration, the documentation, the Help Center, and CapaForum, or to sign out
The sidebar
Section titled “The sidebar”Once you enter a platform section, a persistent sidebar appears on the left. It lists all pages within that section that your organization has. For example, in the Windows section the sidebar can show Dashboard, Endpoints, Configurations, Applications, Privileges, Provision, Security, Experience, Automation, and Enrollment.
You can collapse the sidebar using the button at the bottom to gain more screen space.
Platform sections
Section titled “Platform sections”| Section | What you manage here |
|---|---|
| Windows | Endpoints, applications, configurations, drivers, OS provisioning, security, experience, privilege elevation, and enrollment |
| Android | Android endpoints, app deployment, device configurations, enrollment, and Android Enterprise settings |
| Apple | iOS, iPadOS, and macOS endpoints, configurations, apps, VPP licenses, enrollment, and certificates |
| Management | Groups, endpoint users, directory integrations, reporting, the Self Service Hub (with Mobile Manager), and the Activity Log |
| Account (panel on the home page and the user menu) | Your profile, and for users with the Manager role, users, organizations, billing, and contracts |
Organization selector
Section titled “Organization selector”If your CapaOne account has access to multiple organizations — for example, if you manage devices for several companies or business units — the organization selector in the top bar lets you switch between them. All data shown in the platform is scoped to the currently selected organization.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- URLs are organization-scoped — every page URL includes the organization ID in the format
dash.capaone.com/organization/{org_id}/.... This means browser bookmarks point to a specific organization and section. - Microsoft and Google SSO require that your Microsoft or Google account uses the exact same email address as your CapaOne account — they link by matching email, not by setting up a separate federation.
- The sidebar only appears inside a section — on the home page you navigate using the tiles. Once inside a section, use the sidebar. Click the CapaOne logo to return to the home page tiles.
