Security Monitor
CapaOne Security Monitor provides centralized visibility into the security posture and vulnerability exposure of endpoints across your organization. By combining endpoint configuration monitoring with vulnerability intelligence from the NIST CVE database, it helps administrators identify risks early and prioritize remediation.
You find Security Monitor under Windows → Security.
Security Overview
Section titled “Security Overview”The Security Overview shows the security configuration of all your Windows endpoints on the Overview tab: antivirus, encryption, firewall, Windows Update, pending reboots, driver and patch compliance, and local administrators.
Security Dashboard
Section titled “Security Dashboard”The Security Dashboard delivers a unified overview of endpoint security health across the organization. It surfaces the overall exposure score, CVE trends, and the most critical vulnerabilities detected in the environment, giving administrators an immediate picture of where action is needed.
Endpoint Security
Section titled “Endpoint Security”The Endpoint Security view provides detailed visibility into the security posture and vulnerability exposure of an individual endpoint. Each device includes a security tile summarizing its current status alongside a full security inventory and detected CVEs, enabling focused investigation and remediation at the device level.
Approve Local Administrators
Section titled “Approve Local Administrators”Approve Local Administrators shows how to build the list of approved local administrator accounts and groups, so Security Monitor can flag unapproved and orphaned administrators on your endpoints.
Security Score Calculation
Section titled “Security Score Calculation”Security Score Calculation explains how security scores are automatically calculated for each monitored configuration and presented as Good, Fair, Poor, or None. This helps administrators understand and act on the results shown across Security Monitor.
