Troubleshooting missing name or version

This issue can occur when using Chromium-based browsers.
If the uploaded installation file does not contain embedded Name or Version metadata, the Save button may remain disabled when creating a Custom App.

When creating a Custom App, the Save button remains greyed out after uploading the installation file.

This typically occurs when using Chromium-based browsers such as Google Chrome, especially if the installation file does not include embedded application metadata.

Solution

Note

Use Edge or Firefox

1. Open https://dash.capaone.com.

2. Go to Applications.

   1. Click on Company Apps.

3. Click New → Custom App.

4. Upload the installation file.

5. Make sure the Custom App includes:

   • Name
   • Version

6. Add at least one Install Option.

7. Click Save.
